PPDA and PAS common electoral candidate for President of the Republic, Maia Sandu, has amended the old electoral symbol.

The Central Electoral Commission announced that Sandu changed her electoral symbol. The new electoral symbol is "YES Maia Sandu," written in black on white background, in three rows.

"After the approach of Maia Sandu, appointed by the political party "Action and Solidarity Party", CEC has amended its earlier decision by substituting the old electoral symbol of the candidate for President of the Republic of Moldova with the newly proposed one," announces CEC.

Changing the electoral symbol comes after last Saturday PPDA leader, Andrei Nastase announced his withdrawal from the electoral campaign in favor of the candidate Maia Sandu. Later, he said that he and his team will support and will be involved in the campaign of Maia Sandu.
