Central Election Commission (CEC) comes with some specifications in connection with the appearance of several information that the recount of votes from the second round of the presidential election would have been ordered.

Asked by the Deschide.MD reporter, CEC communicator, Rodica Sarbu, said the law clearly stipulates the recount of votes procedure.

"Only the Constitutional Court can oblige us to recount the votes. So we have 5 days to prepare the proceedings and 3 days to present them to the Constitutional Court. In turn, Constitutional Court, within 10 days after receiving them, but not before the final settlement of the courts of  the submitted appeals, confirms or not, through a note, the legality of the elections," she said.
