Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office initiated 30 criminal cases on forged tenders in education. There are listed 23 suspects, of whom 17 were detained. 12 of them are public servants from the Directorates of Education, Youth and Sport from all sectors of Chisinau, Ministry of Defense and from the Hospital in Hancesti. Prosecutors have refused to make public the names or positions of persons mentioned in the dossier, citing security concerns for their families. However, in the public space have appeared several names. Some of them were published in an investigation on anticoruptie.md, others have appeared on social networks, inclusively on the account of the blogger Eugen Luchianiuc.

Scheme was operating as follows: for signing contracts for the purchase, the decision makers of directorates were discussing with a group of economic operators to increase offer prices, so that more expensive bids would win. Or by prior agreement, at the auction were participating several operators with different bids, but having the same founder. For favoritism, economic agents were paying civil servants, monthly or for each individual auction, specific amounts of money.

We remind that on Thursday, prosecutors and Anti-Corruption officers announced the detention of 17 public servants and representatives of economic operators in forged tenders folder on food in schools and kindergartens in the capital, in total 23 people are suspected. CNA representatives explained that forged auctions were held by arranging competition conditions for an economic agent, the participation of different companies that were actually managed by the same person, or providing information about other bids submitted for payment. Bribe amount was up to 10,000 lei.

Law enforcement personnel presented interceptions stating that some of delivered foods were rotten.
