The man saw that his hunting dog was being forced into a headlock by a large kangaroo. Video shot in June but going viral this week shows a dramatic encounter between a large male kangaroo and a man in Australia.

The video shows the dog struggling in the kangaroo's headlock when his human rushed to help him. The man in the video was later identified as Greig Tonkins, 34, who works as an elephant keeper at Taronga Western Plains Zoo.

Seconds after the kangaroo released the dog from a headlock, Mr. Tonkins punched it in the face.

Since being shared, the video has invoked mixed responses on social media, with some finding the video funny and several others expressing concern for the kangaroo, informs The Telegraph.
