POB Poll // Five parties - in the Parliament, Dodon and Sandu - in the second round of elections
The Public Opinion Barometer (POB) presented today a poll on presidential elections that are going to take place on October 30. The results show that the PSRM leader, Igor Dodon, would get the most votes, both from the decided people, and the total number of respondents.
When asked for whom of the candidates in the electoral race they would vote, the poll participants answered in this way: Igor Dodon - 27%, Maia Sandu - 9,3%, Andrei Năstase - 8,1%, Marian Lupu - 7,5%, Dumitru Ciubașenco - 5,6%, Iurie Leancă - 1,7%, the other candidates would get less than 1%.
Of all those committed to participate in the voting of the presidential elections for Igor Dodon would vote - 35,6%, Maia Sandu - 11,7%, Andrei Năstase - 8,7%, Dumitru Ciubașenco - 6,9%, Iurie Leancă - 1,9% Mihai Ghimpu, - 1,3%
Survey organizers have asked a question, namely: Who will you vote for in the runoff of the presidential elections by featuring some pairs of candidates:
If in the runoff were Maia Sandu and Marian Lupu, then 27,4% would vote for the PAS leader, and 17,8% for PDM president, the other respondents being undecided or would not go to the voting.
For the pair Andrei Năstase and Marian Lupu, 30,5% would vote for the PPDA leader and 15,7% for the PDM one.
If in the second round were Andrei Năstase and Igor Dodon, 18,8% would vote for Năstase and 42,0% for Dodon
Marian Lupu - Igor Dodon: for PDM president - 13,2% and for the socialists one - 41,2%
Maia Sandu - Igor Dodon: for Maia Sandu would vote 24,1% and for Igor Dodon - 40,8%
If parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, then 26,1% of respondents would vote for PSRM, 9,2% - PAS, 8,5% - PPDA, 7,7% - PD, 7,6% - PN, 2,6% - PCRM, 1,7% - PPEM, 1,1% - PL, 0,8% - Ravnopravie, 0,7% - PLDM.
The poll was conducted by CBS Axa between October 6 and 16 and covered a sample of 1,109 people from 82 communities from the Republic of Moldova with an error margin of 2.9%.
The poll was conducted before the three parties - the LDPM, PAS and PPDA - have decided to go to the elections with a common candidate.
