The PSRM candidate for President of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Dodon, commented Monday judges' decision to issue a warrant for the arrest of Renato Usatîi. The Socialist qualify these actions as political revenge, and his statement comes after what yesterday, Usatîi announced that the second round of presidential elections will support Igor Dodon.

"This government continues to act cowardly, to instigate the law enforcement agencies on the candidates, to manufacture files, to neutralize the opposition forces. We see what happens with Renato Usatîi again, that government is brutally squaring accounts with him, by a corrupt justice and subordinate to the power.

We condemn the oligarchic power attacks on our colleague of the left wing opposition. We understand once again that we need a change of power. And this change will cardinally begin with a President, appointed by the left wing opposition. Not much has remained to the oligarchs from the power. All thieves in government awaits the billion penalty for theft and other illegalities. Without ruling oligarchs and unionists, Moldova will have a future," wrote Dodon on his Facebook page.

We remind you that the Center District Court issued a national and international arrest warrant on Monday, October 24, on the name of the leader of "Our Party", Renato Usatii. The judges admitted the demarche of the prosecutor Vitalie Busuioc who requested the warrant on the grounds that the politician was not presented at prosecutors hearings. Later, the IGP announced him internationally wanted.

The leader of "Our Party", Renato Usatii announced yesterday that if Dumitru Ciubasenco will not reach into the second round of the presidential elections, then he will urge his supporters to give their vote for Igor Dodon. Statements to this effect were made in Moscow, during a meeting with the Moldovan diaspora.
