The PPEM candidate, Iurie Leanca announced that will not withdraw from the electoral race. The final decision was announced a few minutes ago by the PPEM leader, at a press conference.

"I think that the main danger is Igor Dodon, because he poisons people's minds. The events of recent days have created a situation downright dramatic. At the moment there is a huge threat for Moldova. Now at this time no one can predict the evolution of these results. Mr. Dodon has an extremely loyal electorate that is why there is a risk that he will win from the first round, if they will be more withdrawals from the electoral race as a result I decided to stay in the race," stated Leanca.

We remind you that yesterday, after the PD candidate, Marian Lupu, announced his withdrawal from the electoral race in favor for Maia Sandu, in the media appeared information that Iurie Leanca would withdraw his candidacy. Immediately after the announcement made by the Democrats, the PAS candidate, Maia Sandu came with a virulent reaction, and some sources from the PPEM have told us that these reactions have influenced the postponement of a decision, on staying or leaving of Iurie Leanca from the electoral race.
