Candidate of "Our Party" (PN) in the presidential elections, Dumitru Ciubaşenco, answers to some allegations of several PSRM members who argue that if Ciubașenco had withdrawn from the race, Igor Dodon would have achieved victory in round I. According to PN candidate, "everyone understands that elections are falsified in favor of Dodon."

"If you talk with Plahotniuc and have decided to go with him till the end, but he has fooled you, then what business do I have? If Dodon does not become president and State Department will not allow this, again, what business do I have? Dodon is ready to declare that he will remove Usatîi from the international pursuit, where he was put by Plahotniuc? Dodon is ready to announce the immediate dissolution of Parliament and call early elections? If not, then what business do I have? Continue to go ahead with yours Plahotniuc and leave me alone," he posted on Facebook.

Previously, the socialist leader would have proposed to the voters and supporters of "Our Party" to support him, not the candidate of the political party - Ciubașenco. According to Dodon, votes of PN representatives would have helped him win the first round.
