Prime Minister Pavel Filip today met Ukrainian Ambassador to Moldova Ivan Hnatyshyn. The officials discussed the current stage and perspectives of Moldovan-Ukrainian bilateral relations.

Also, the sides analyzed the level of achieving agreements reached at a recent meeting between Moldovan Premier and President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

Another topic was focused on interaction between the two states within the international organizations.

The meeting took place after the post of the press officer of Ukrainian president, Petro Poroshenko, on the temporary summoning of Ambassador Ivan Hnatyshyn to Kiev. The media assumed that the ambassador was summoned for consultations in the context of Igor Dodon's statements on Crimea belonging to Russia.
