The presidential candidate of PAS signed its own contract of non-collaboration with Vlad Plahotniuc. It is an affidavit that Maia Sandu read it and signed it last night, live, at the debates from Moldova 1. Her gesture came following from the repeated challenges from her counter candidate to sign the document which he initiated before the first round.

The PAS president has read the declaration before the Socialist Igor Dodon to propose her to sign his statement that, also, requires not to cooperate with Plahotniuc.

"Dear citizens, I do not sign with Dodon and Plahotniuc, I sign with you. I sign the affidavit in your presence. The undersigned, Maia Sandu, a citizen of Moldova, declare on my honor that, as President of the Republic of Moldova, I will not accept any collaboration with the citizen Vladimir Plahotniuc, Maia Sandu. I sign here that you also could see," concluded Maia Sandu.

Maia Sandu also said that she has information that PD uses administrattive resources to campaign in favor of Dodon.

In response, Igor Dodon reproached to Maia Sandu that she voted "the godson of Plahotniuc," for the position of the Speaker of the Parliament.

- I voted so you could not come to power, answered the PAS leader.

- This is important! Repeat, please, insisted Dodon.

- I will opt for a security council to ensure the combat of corruption, continued Maia Sandu, avoiding to follow the request from her contra-candidate.

- I come back to what you said. You said that you voted for Candu, so we could not come to power. Do you see how you contradict yourself? Just now you have signed an agreement of non-collaboration with Plahotniuc. But if you have to vote once more, so we could not come to power, will you do it?, Dodon concluded.

Igor Dodon, the candidate of the pro-Russian Party of Socialists of Moldova (PSRM), and Maia Sandu, the pro-European candidate from the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), are facing in the second round of the presidential elections, to be held Sunday, in Moldova, which is considered crucial for the future of the country.
