Filip discussed by phone today with the new PM of Romania, Sorin Grindeanu
During the phone conversation, PM Pavel Filip offered congratulations to his Romanian counterpart on his swearing in the office of prime minister of Romania and wished him much success in his responsible work.
The two officials also exchanged opinions on the evolution of the bilateral relations and voiced confidence for the further boosting of the political dialogue, as well as of the commercial, economic and cultural cooperation between the two states.
Pavel Filip thanked Romania for the constant support provided to Moldova in carrying out efforts of modernizing and European integration of Moldova. In this respect, Prime Minister Pavel Filip emphasized, in particular, the backing provided for Moldova’s alignment with the European values, implementing the agenda of association with EU, as well as in carrying out energy projects, cultural, education and social programmes.
At the same time, Prime Minister Pavel Filip showed confidence in the ascendant development of the bilateral cooperation in continuation and voiced willingness to closely collaborate with the new Romanian governmental team, in order to carry through the joint projects underway, as well as to initiate new projects, which are to effectively help improve the living of the Moldovan citizens and the continuous rapprochement with the great family of European nations.
