The Secretary General of the Liberal Party, Ion Apostol, is against the initiative of the Democrat leader, Vlad Plahotniuc, on changing the uninominal system in the parliamentary polls. This is a trap, he writes on Facebook.

"The uninominal vote for RM is a dangerous trap. It is already vieux (Déjà vu). I'm against it!" wrote Ion Apostol.

And the press officer of the Liberals, Ionel Puscas, writes that the Liberal Party does not support the transition to the uninominal vote, nor the mixed vote.

In a posting on his Facebook page, Ionel Puscas, says that if such a reform of the electoral system will be applied, only the candidates willing to pay for a mandate will have chances.

Moreover, he argues that those 24 Socialist deputies could vote for this project.

-----------We remind you that Plahotniuc stated today in a press briefing that PD will initiate the uninominal vote in Parliament. That means people will vote each deputy party who will be in the Moldovan Parliament. Moreover, the possibility that voters the Democrats want withdraw from office deputy discharge ahead of the expiry of its mandate, if this does not not meet the expectations of the people. The project will be sent to the Venice Commission for expertise.
