IMAS survey // Maia Sandu is the most appreciated diaspora politician
Maia Sandu politician is most appreciated by the Moldovan diaspora. That may be deduced from a barometer of Diaspora conducted by IMAS.
According to data provided by IMAS representatives during a press conference - Maia Sandu is appreciated by about 70%, Andrei Nastase - 42% Dorin Chirtoaca - 34% Iurie Leanca - 31%. Pavel Filip - 18%, Vladimir Voronin - 18% Igor Dodon - 15%, Andrian Candu - 14%, Renato Usatîi - 14%, Mihai Ghimpu - 14%, and PDM leader, Plahotniuc is appreciated by 11%.
The chapter political parties, PAS is appreciated by 66%, PPDA - 44% PPEM - 26%, the PLDM - 19% PL - 18%, Communist Party - 14%, PSRM - 13% PN - 13%.
According to IMAS company director, Doru Petruti,the respondents were interviewed online or on the telephone during the period from February 17 to March 7. He added that in the survey, the IMAS members have encountered the same difficulties in interviewing respondents as in the country, even if initially they expected a greater openness from the citizens abroad.
