The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) has set new ceiling prices for Premium-95 gasoline and diesel fuel. According to new prices, gasoline is cheaper by 0,01 lei and diesel is more expensive by 0,21 lei. The price for one liter of gasoline A-95 will not exceed 16,24 lei and for diesel fuel - 14,03 lei.

The new prices come into effect from tomorrow and will be valid until October 18th. Oil companies are required to adjust the retail price of fuels so as not to exceed the ANRE regulations.

The prices have been established by ANRE in accordance with the requirements of the new Methodology of formation and application of prices for petroleum products, in  effect since May 13, 2016. The prices posted today on ANRE’s webpage will be valid during 14 calendar days.

Acording to the Methodology, ANRE, every 14 days, on Tuesdays, sets the threshold of retail prices for gasoline, diesel and liquefied gas, and publishes them on its webpage until 1 PM. On the same day, each operator on the oil products market will establish, proceeding from the ceiling prices set by ANRE, the retail prices for the oil products, will publish them on its webpage and will post them on informative panels placed at fuel supply stations. The prices set by operators will enter into force and will be applied for all consumers, starting from Wednesday midnight at 12:01 AM.
