10 chiefs of the National Inspectorate Patrol (INP) were suspended from their position, being suspected of involvement in illegal actions of detained police officers last days during a Police General Inspectorate (IGP) meeting, informs the press service of IGP.
The Inspection Directorate Effective of the General Police Inspectorate have initiated investigations on the case of detained policemen for committing passive corruption acts, it is shown in a press release of the institution.
We remind you that on October 25th 2016, the Anti-corruption Prosecutor Office was informing about the detention of the policemen under the National Inspectorate Patrol for committing passive corruption.
The operation of arresting took place at the National Inspectorate Patrol of IGP of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the illegal acts of policemen being documented with the support of the General Police Inspectorate.
