Orhei city mayor, Ilan Shor, remains in house arrest. The Appeal Court dismissed the request of lawyers on changing the preventive measure.

Therefore, Appeal Court kept the decision from October 20 on Shor's placing in house arrest for 30 days.

At the exit from the courtroom, Shor said that the court decision demonstrates that he is a person uncomfortable for the government.

At the same time, the lawyet of Orhei mayor, Iulian Balan, declared after the decision that more questions arise about the attitude of judges on this case and there are real reasons on addressing to the European Court for Human Rights.
