Moldovan Interpol chief and head of PGI contradict Usatîi: He is internationally wanted!
Viorel Ţentiu, head of Interpol National Central Bureau for Moldova, denies the declaration of Renato Usatii that the Central Office of Lyon would have removed him from the list of searched people. The same statement gave for Deschide.MD the head of Police General Inspectorate (PGI) - Alexandru Pânzari.
Both cited sources have told us that they do not have information about the disposal of Usatîi from international search.
"It is not possible that Renato Usatîi would know a decision about which I was not informed," declared Ţentiu.
"We deny the statements of Usatîi. He is wanted, including internationally. We are working with international authorities to arrest and extradite him," added Alexandru Pânzari.
We remind that the president of "Our Party", Renato Usatîi announced that the Central Office of Interpol in Lyon (France) took him out of the international search requested by Moldovan authorities. The announcement was made in a video post on Facebook an hour ago.
"I want to inform the criminal and thievish regime of Plahotniuc that Interpol today removed me from international search. The Central Office did not believe the story of Plahotniuc about ordering the murder of Gorbuntsov ... I found lawyers in the US, EU and Russia that had to demonstrate that I am pursued for political reasons. It did not come to this, because Lyon took me out of the search," he said.
