Moldovan military personnel marched at the parade in Bucharest. Salaru invited to the reception
Honor Guard Service Members marched at the Military Parade in the Triumphal Arch Square from Bucharest on the National Day of Romania.
The Moldovan platoon consisting of 31 officers and NCOs of the Honor Guard Company marched together with contingents from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Italy, Germany, Poland, Romania, the Republic of Moldova, Spain, and the United States of America.
The National Army service members was commanded by Lt. Vitalie Josan, while the State Flag was carried by SFC Tudor Minciuna. The event was attended also by Defense Minister Anatol Salaru.
We must emphasize that Minister Salaru is the only Moldovan official invited to the parade from Bucharest and the presidential reception that President Klaus Iohannis is having on National Day of Romania.
The Republic of Moldova has been participating in the military parade in Romania since 2014.
