The United States of America Embassy in the Republic of Moldova congratulates the National Army on the occasion of 25 years since its foundation.

On the Facebook account of the Embassy is posted the following message: Congratulations to the National Army of the Republic of Moldova on the occasion of 25 years since its foundation.

The National Army celebrates today 25 years since its creation. On this occasion, the Ministry of Defense organizes a series of events in the capital and in many other cities of the country.

In Chisinau took place this morning more ceremonies of laying flowers, and the soldiers of the "Ştefan cel Mare" Brigade organize exhibitions of weapons, technics and equipment, exercises of handling the weapons and close fight, as well as militarily porridge for the residents of Chisinau in the Valea Morilor Park.

A festive concert will take place at 4 pm in the Grand National Assembly Square, which will be attended by the Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Moldova, folk music ensemble "Doina Armatei", choir "Cavlerii Armoniei", ethno folk ensemble "Plaiestii", singers: Vali Boghean, Natalia Proca, Aurica Dicusara, Cristina Scarlat, Anisoara Dabija, Mircea Zgherea. During the event will be launched the photo exhibition "25 years of the National Army in 25 photos". 

On September 3rd, 1991 was signed the Decree No. 194 by the President Mircea Snegur, which created the Armed Forces of the Republic of Moldova.
