NEWS ALERT// (UPDATE) Sculeni customs searches. V. Vrabie ordered to recall all customs officers on vacation
(UPDATE 14:07) The Customs Service took notice of the searches made by CNA officers and anti-corruption prosecutors in Sculeni customs post and Ungheni customs office, and ordered an investigation within the service. However, to ensure an optimum activity of the mentioned subdivisions, the General Director of the Customs Service, Vitalie Vrabie has ordered to call back all customs officers on vacation and their presence, within 24 hours, in the concerned establishments.
(UPDATE 11:47) Six other people were detained, by this time, by CNA and anti-corruption prosecutors in a file targeting corruption actions committed by employees of Sculeni customs post and Ungheni customs office. Among those detained are two shift heads at the Sculeni customs post and 4 customs officers. We recall that in this morning, four people were detained after CNA and anti-corruption prosecutors searches. In total, 10 customs officers are detained for 72 hours on suspicion of corruption actions.
The action continues with searches at multiple addresses.

It's about the head of Ungheni Customs Office, deputy chief of Ungheni Customs Office, a shift head at Sculeni customs post and a customs inspector.
