A troop of soldiers of the National Army participates currently during August 27th - September 16th at the multinational exercise "Combined Resolve VII", that is taking place in Germany.

According to the contingent commander, major Victor Trohin, the exercise, which is led by the U.S. Army's European Rotational Force (USAREUR), aims to prepare jointly the soldiers from allied and partner countries of NATO, but also ensure the level of interoperability required by international missions.

The source mentioned that the National Army detached officers and and non-commissioned officers from the 22nd peacekeeping battalion at the "Combined Resolve VII".

At the exercise from this year, that is taking place at the Army's Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels Training Areas in southeastern Germany, includes more than 3500 participants from Armenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Ukraine, and the United States.

The National Army participated at the exercises in Germany since 2012.
