After the National Agency for Energy Regulation announced higher price ceilings for gasoline and diesel fuel two weeks ago, the ceilings for the next two weeks were again raised.

Thus, a liter of gasoline 95 will cost at most 17.36 lei, as opposed to 16.97 lei earlier. The diesel fuel will cost at most 15.17 lei a liter, as against 14.91 lei during the past two weeks, IPN reports.

The new price ceilings will take effect on December 28 and will be applied until January 10. Two weeks ago, the fuel price ceilings were increased by about 0.7 lei.

The Agency urges those who see prices higher than the ceilings posted at gas stations to report the cases to the green line +373 800 10 800 or through the email address anre@anre.md.
