Lump-sum payments for purchasing dwellings
The Ministry of Finance will allocate 2.2 million lei for providing lump-sum allowances for repairing, building and purchasing dwellings to some categories of people.
These include the participants in the war to defend the integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova, participants in the Afghanistan war and rehabilitated victims of political repression, IPN reports, quoting a decision approved by the Government.
The money will be directed to the councils of 12 districts, Balti municipality and the Executive Council of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia for being distributed to 50 beneficiaries.
The allowances are designed for those who haven’t raised preferential loans for the purpose, weren’t provided with housing by the state and do not possess guarantees of the local public authorities for obtaining dwellings.
