In the December 30 meeting of the Broadcasting Coordination Council, member Mariana Onceanu-Hadarca said Radio Plai has worked for a long time on the media market of Moldova and produces programs of a high quality. “It is a necessary radio station and I will support the allotment of the frequency for the people in Cantemir to have an alternative source of information,” she stated.

The Council’s chairman Dinu Ciocan said a new contest will be announced for the two frequencies that weren’t allotted, together with other frequencies that will be provided by the ICT Ministry.
