Among those who have suffered from the attack at Istanbul's Reina nightclub is a citizen of the Republic of Moldova. About this on his Facebook page announced the Prime Minister Pavel Filip.

"I was informed by my counterpart in Turkey that among those who had suffered from the terrorist attack in Istanbul on the night of December 31 is a Moldovan citizen,"  the PM said.

In this sense Filip requested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health to work together with the institutions in Turkey "in order to provide the necessary assistance and to ensure appropriate treatment for our citizen injured in the terrorist attack, but also necessary support to his family."

"Moldova strongly condemns this bloody act and we send our condolences to the families and the Turkish authorities," wrote Filip.

We recall that on New Year's Eve a person entered the Reina nightclub in Ortakoy district of Istanbul at 1:15 on Sunday (22:15 GMT Saturday), and fired indiscriminately the people. In the attack were killed 39 people, including 16 foreigners. Another 69 people needed medical care.

Jihadist organization Islamic State claimed on Monday in a press release it was behind the attack.
