MFA about the bus with Moldovans, blocked in Romania. Our citizens were lodged at a pension.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration informs that on January 6, 2017, a bus with Moldovans travelling on the Chisinau – Brasov road got stuck in snow piles 5 km from the Romanian town Ramnicu Sarat.
Moldova’s Embassy in Bucharest contacted the competent Romanian authorities and was informed that the Moldovans were lodged at a pension in Ramnicu Sarat.
The situation is monitored by the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Moldova in Bucharest.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova warns the Moldovans who intend to travel to Romania to be vigilant given the unfavorable weather conditions and the danger of avalanches in mountainous areas.
