As we get closer to the official start of the right wing campaign, the spirits are heating up. Unofficially, the campaign is running on full speed. As well as the registered candidates, as those who are still collecting signatures are trying to be present everywhere it is possible and even where it is not possible: in people's home, in schools, at weddings, at christening, at funerals, at annual feet, christening dinner, etc. The most known are even manage to appear in the company of some authorities (usually, high state dignitaries), wishing to take over at least some of their image.

Iurie Leanca made a typical electoral move: when he was in Germany, he had meetings with important personalities from Berlin. The peak of his visit was the meeting with Angela Merkel. The German Chancellor made it very clear that supports the candidature of Iurie Leanca at the elections for the President of the Republic of Moldova. But the suggestion given by the leader of one of the most important states from European Union was taken, with cold by the "pro-European" right wing, from the Bic river bank. Party leaders, opinion leaders, journalists, all together tried to minimize as much as possible the message from Berlin. Some preferred to overlook the importance of the meeting between Angela Merkel and the leader of PPEM, others did not bother to state that nothing important happened and, more recently, the German Chancellor is not who she used to be anymore. The reaction of some nominees to the Presidential chair can be understood: it is about competition on the same side of the political "echiquier" (French word). But the position of the opinion leaders is unclear, who have the mission to explain the unseen side of the politics, from the inside of some meetings and statement which, at first sight are symbolic, formal, but which - in reality - carries a strong political baggage and demand to be taken seriously.

In the search for support from outside, on the footsteps of Iurie Leanca, went this time to Brussels a PLDM soldier, lead by its new President, Viorel Ciubotaru. Because they don't have nominee of their own, they took with them Maia Sandu, the PAS candidate. In the capital of Belgium, the PLDM-PAS delegation had a meeting the president of the European People's Party. After the meeting with Joseph Daul, the President of PLDM, Viorel Ciubotaru, came before the journalists with the following statement: "Most of PLDM voters are supporting Maia Sandu". Thinking that the majority of the National Political Council of PLDM will support the candidature of Maia Sandu at the Presidential elections on Octomber 30th 2016.

The statement of the PLDM leader would blow up the epic quiet appearance of the single candidate from the "right wing". As expected, those from the camp of Andrei Nastase were alerted at maximum. The statement of the PLDM President was unexpected by those from PPDA. Just when they thought that their nominee - slowly slowly, when louder, when quieter - will be chosen as a mutual candidate.

From the information appeared in the public space, we found out that, at first, Maia Sandu and Andrei Nastase had an agreement that the nominee with higher chances will go as the joint candidate. They had a deal also regarding the mechanism of identification of the mutual candidate. They agreed on some sociological studies, realized by some specialized communities, from outside. So far, so good. The problems started when Andrei Nastase realized, when studied the last relevant opinion polls, that he has no chance against Maia Sandu. As a outcome, all the media artillery, all "experts" that he has, were put to work, to force Maia Sandu to withdraw in the favor of Andrei Nastase. First of all, they tried to improvise a debate, but, oh dear, it did not work. The PAS candidate did not attend at this game and said: I pas!

After that it was announced a mobilization for a cabinet from the shadows. This did not work as well, because Maia Sandu did not go. Sandu and her team insisted on the initial agreements, with independent opinion polls. Now, we see the guys from the entourage of the PPDA leader wailing and trying to prove that the opinion pool is not the most adequate method. Engaging in brainstorming exercises, on line, from studios, are coming with the most bizarre proposals: the fact that Nastase is wearing pants, and before the voting urns will be installed, people should choose. This is some kind of primeris (internal Party elections) in the Moldovan way.

As we can easily see, the most restless from all the nominees is the PPDA candidate, Andrei Nastase. Pushed insistently from behind, Nastase transformed in a true Figaro of the politics from Chisinau. Offering himself in all possible and impossible alliances, both enrolling or withdrawing itself from the geopolitical cymbal, he is ready for anything, just to get on the top. The most funny thing that I heard from the followers of Andrei Nastase is the story that he would be the anti-oligarchic candidate!...

Meanwhile, after some massive pressures and betrayal accusations, the President of PLDM was bound to specify: "PLDM did not decide yet whom to support". Therefore, the denouement is delayed. Although, it is clear that as a single candidate will be Andrei Nastase or... nobody!
