Vitalie VOVC // The week when we remembered Gaudeamus
For example, there was a cheap student cafe, it was closed, a Chinese restaurant was made, then it was demolished, they built a spa later, then it was closed, they opened a branch of the Savings Bank, then it was closed, and now there is nothing at all. All these happened because you should not close a student cafe, the people were happy there, and now they have no place to rejoice, and because of their resentment and frustration let this place be empty .,

So here we are, my dear Readers, in the middle of the electoral campaign! What is written in the law referring to the calendars or rules of the game really does not matter. Nor has ever mattered, frankly speaking. Use of public resources or lack of financial transparency are undoubtedly quarter-secular traditions and mysteries in the Republic of Moldova. I would not want to spoil the mood and enthusiasm of those who give themselves up today to uncover the violations of the "protocol" (I assure you it is a necessary exercise and rather ungrateful) but I insist that this plague is not an endemic one. However elsewhere, they are typically somehow hidden, even from the world, while here a Dodon, for example, distributes bumph with "Romanian gendarme" freely. And try to do something to a candidate credited by a survey with over 36% of voting intentions?!
However, we will return to the troublesome later. I have the possibility to start this edition with something really good!
DRAMA! MORE DRAMA IN CHISINAU! Until September 21st, Chisinau is the capital of the Romanian drama! The Romanian Cultural Institute brings to Chisinau the national theaters from all over the Country! Sibiu, Craiova, Iasi, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Chisinau (2), Balti, Cahul - a geography and a program more than impressive! Really, dear residents of Chisinau, you are enviable!
THE UNION (FOR NOW, ONLY ON TV) I cannot overlook the appearance of a new TV station, "Unirea TV"! They are still at the early stage and there is much work (I would advise you to change the logo, for example, I think it is naive and unprofessional), but for a TV station who collected money from around the world to launch, it's a good start. It's a little, not enough, however it is a drop, which is diluting even more the ocean of the ever-present Putin's propaganda in our country...
ROMANIA TAKES CARE OF OUR CHILDREN The Government of Romania will continue to fund the kindergartens in Moldova! For two years, it has allocated 23 million euros to repair and remodel 832 kindergartens in ALL the districts of the country. Only, if we believe the participants in the program "Sfatul Tarii" (Unirea TV), this thing is not known by the citizens of ALL the localities where Romanian money have been invested. In other words, the mayors from Romanophobe parties make a political capital on Romanian money. Perhaps something went bad on the communication level. Perhaps those who had to deal with communication, instead were on the bum. Too bad ...
In this way, slowly, we passed from the good stuff to the crazy one...
THE UNCLASSIFIED PROTOCOL the Prime-Minister Pavel Filip published shorthand report (violating probably the law, because it was classified "secret folder") of the Government meeting when it was decided the allocation of the emergency credit for BEM. Apparently Maia Sandu has to gain from this, because she was the only one who tried to speak against this. But in the end she voted as well. Enough was said about this document. Some commended Maia Sandu. others attacked her for signing the document. That's how happened with every protagonist of the shorthand report... Some calculated and realized that the amount of the credit does not does not match the total of deposits that supposedly needed to be guaranteed... I advise you to read the shorthand report and try to put yourself in the place of any Minister from that cabinet. So there comes a guy in the Government (let him be Dragutanu and he says, all of a sudden: "People, this is bad. We are screwed. If you don't give money, a lot of money, we will go up with a bang") Which was the reaction that seemed to right? No, not answers brought by Maia Sandu: "And must I vote this crap?" (she eventually voted in the end, I mean she made all that theater for nothing, maybe only for that shorthand report, who knows?) If I was a Minister, I would say that I can not vote cause of the lack of information. Not that I am against or in favor, but naturally, I can not vote. I would demand from Dragutanu a much more detailed report over situation, instead of what we are reading in the shorthand report. After all, not all the bankers can understand from a couple of phrases what is happening, and you can not vote like that, in rush, such cosmic amounts of money! But NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE had an proper reaction. But this is only my opinion of course. I think that this document would deserve a much greater attention and much more serious discussions in mass-media, but... the event was outshined by a typical electoral "compromising material"...
CHIRTOACA IGITUR On internet was postet a video in which Chirtoaca is having a party in the garage, with alcohol and singing Russian military song. On this matter you can think anything, we all know that thing like private life, that he is also a human, that there is no accounting for tastes, let the one who never was wrong to throw the first rock, the politics is a bitch and so on. All good and true... like in the Filat case, the problem is not about the film, who made it, who posted and why (although this is an interesting thing). The problem is that this film exists. Look, I know a lot of people, some even really high-positioned ones, that do not have this kinds of films. And that could not have one. Because if you do not know how to stay sober, you must know how, and with whom to drink. That’s it.
GAUDEAMUS DORINEL Immediately after the posting of the film with Chirtoaca screaming a Lyube's song, in the public space appeared another document which said that the Gaudeamus theatre will be demolished. There were possible more discussions, inclusively about cultural spaces, about the owner and the proprietary right and even the architectural value of the building, if Chirtoaca would not stated that he is flogging a dead horse... But after I saw what is going to be built on that site, i join with those who are defending the theater corps et âme. The fact that Chirtoaca is loosing it while is making a mull out of something should not surprise us anymore. Dorinel should thank his uncle. And there is something more, maybe a good communication adviser could help him. Again Communication.... Again some guys that are on the bum...
ARE THE RUSSIANS INSPECTING US?! They are saying that a commission from Rosselhoznadzor (you can twist your tongue with this name!) is coming to inspect our melon-fields... I don't know how others are looking at this, but I consider this is humiliating. What commissions? What inspections? Could we have some pride? I am not speaking about "national pride" and things that have no bases, but about elementary pride. After all, let us leave this overweening emotions apart and think rationally. 64% from our exports are already going towards EU markets. So let the rest also to go and not to get blackmailed by those when and how they want!
CANTARIAN AT SHEVCHUK The lord Vladimir is blessing Shevchuk, who, no long ago signed some decrees through which he would want the "reunification" with Russia. Although I ask myself to what extent this actions, as well as Dodon's, Usatai, Nastase and so on, who more than once instigated to hate, to violent overturn of the "regime", or even tried to subversion it, can be sanctioned by law. Maybe they should inspire from Russians? They sanction any "separatist" instigation... even if, paradox? they organize the separatist Congress from all over the world at Moscow, financed directly from Putin's money. Or maybe we should ask our negotiating "partners", if we should still give them licence plates? By the way, Shevchuk was not invited to Moscow.
This is it... I was thinking to tell you something about the electoral campaign... I changed my mind. I don't want to. Cause you will not say that your choice will depend on what is happening or will happen in the days to come?
